Physical keyboard shift and alt keys are no longer “sticky” keys. You have to hold them down and simultaneously press the other key. That’s no good.

Thanks, It worked for me. After having to deal with the phone rebooting by itself every time I switched to 3g connectivity i just had to get an update. It hasn’t rebooted for a while now and been watching a couple of vidz without it overheating to the point of me thinking goner explode. So thanks a lot guys.

I have a security concern with the update.. Although it works fine, I found that my phone sends an anonymous message every time I turn it on. I found this out because I use a prepaid sim card with no load on my phone. And shortly after I turn my phone on, a message from my carrier comes in informing me that I do not have enough load to send such a message. Apparently, my phone was sending a secret message to God knows where.
Has anyone encountered this same issue? I think the update may have been compromised to begin with.

can auto call recorder will work

  • SolidSnake

I upgraded successfully to 4.1.2 on my one but here is a list of problems that have arised :

    1. Though the speed in graphics and general response of the phone went sky high good (especially when opening the contacts app which was deadly slow on 4.0.4 with ~300 contacts) an automatic update showed up and I decided to do it. After the update the phone became again slow.. I guess not as slow as 4.0.4 but still the initial speed of the flashing was lost.. I’m planning to reflash it and avoid doing any automatic updates again until a 4.3+ version is available..

So, my first tip is to disable automatic software updates right after the flashing process goes well.

    2. The ChatOn button does no longer work. I guess some driver isn’t included in the ROM and the button doesn’t do anything and can not be set up in the shortcut settings menu. The bottom right shortcut works fine btw. It’s just the ChatOn button that doesn’t.

    3. Somehow I am unable to switch languages. Since I am from greek I normally need to switch between English and Greek. Now if I press the Symbol button that was used to switch between languages it only shows up the Symbols table. I’ve tried with shift, alt, both and there’s no difference.

    4. There are some small issues with the shift and alt keys with some combinations (zero, space, comma, dot etc.) that are easy to figure out but are somewhat annoying compared to what I have been used to type.

Other than these the upgrade is really worth it and it’s also easy to do so. Something I would also like to state is that it didn’t even reset my phones memory.. so I didn’t lose my applications, contacts, messages, etc after I turned on my phone to Jelly Bean 4.1.2.. as weird as it seemed they were all there, only some apps installations that I had moved to the SD card were reported missing.

    Good luck to you!
    I hope I helped.

The subject of Samsung galaxy fix screen is a controversial issue. I find myself constantly drawn back to the subject of Samsung galaxy fix screen. Given that its influence pervades our society, it is important to remember that ‘what goes up must come down.’ The juxtapositioning of Samsung galaxy fix screen with fundamental economic, social and political strategic conflict draws criticism from the aristocracy, many of whom blame the influence of television.
